A friendly, safe and respectful space.
These policies explain how Chit Chat with Luci works. Please read them before booking a conversation.
Terms of service
Chit Chat with Luci offers relaxed online British-English conversation practice for adults aged 18 and over.
It is not a formal English course, exam-preparation service, therapy, or medical, legal, immigration, financial or other professional advice.
We may decline or end a booking where this service is not suitable, or where these policies are not followed.
Community and safety rules
Please be kind, respectful and considerate throughout each call.
- No harassment, threats, hateful, sexual or abusive behaviour.
- No illegal activity, fraud, scams or requests for illegal assistance.
- Do not share meeting links with anyone else.
- Do not record, screenshot, publish or share any part of a call.
- Luci may end a call where safety, wellbeing or respectful conduct requires it.
Cancellations and late arrivals
You may cancel or request one reschedule at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time.
If you arrive late, the conversation will still end at its scheduled finish time. It cannot normally be extended.
Missed appointments and cancellations made with less than 12 hours’ notice are normally not refundable or transferable, subject to any statutory consumer rights that apply.
Privacy notice
We use booking and contact information to arrange and deliver your conversation, communicate with you about bookings, and keep necessary business records.
Calls are never recorded by Chit Chat with Luci. We do not store audio, video or transcripts of conversations.
Booking and meeting services may involve Cal.com, Google Meet and Google Workspace. Payment processing, when enabled, will be provided by the payment provider shown at checkout.
We do not sell personal information. Please email hello@chitchatwithluci.com for privacy questions or to request access to your information.
We keep booking and contact information for up to 24 months after your last conversation or contact with us. We retain payment and financial records only for as long as required by applicable law.
